The most important aspect of working with an interior design studio is open communication. A large part of the communication and perhaps the
biggest question is "how much is this going to cost?" Every interior design project is unique and involves a different amount of
participation and attention by Candace Sveda and her interior design staff.
At our initial meeting we carefully discuss the scope of the project. Included in that discussion are:
- What our design studio can do for you
- What our responsibilities are
- What your responsibilities are
- The estimated length of time it will take to complete the project
- Estimated budgets
- What we need to do to get started
- Prioritizing
Once the above has been established, we determine the method in which we will be compensated. This will be drafted in an outline of
services/letter of agreement. This is our form of a contract.
We create written cost estimates for every aspect of your project for your approval. A 50% deposit is required to proceed with the order and
is spelled out in the estimates.
Should your interior design project involve a "design consultation only" appointment the fee is $90.00 per hour. Examples of these are:
- Color selection
- Furniture arrangement
- Accessorization
- Window covering design
We enjoy establishing long term relationships with our clients. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible in working with us.
