Place TV Over Fireplace
The prices of flat screen televisions have become more affordable, thus changing the furniture placement for great rooms and
family rooms that have fireplaces. The day of the large entertainment centers which dominate a family room are over. By placing the
television over the fireplace, an entire wall in the room is free for a sofa or other pieces of furniture. The focal point for the
room which is the fireplace is now shared with the TV. The furniture arrangement can be placed to face the television/fireplace
wall. This had made small rooms appear much lighter and larger.
